How to take box size? Internal and external size difference
Length, width and height order must be clearly stated in parcel orders. If it is not stated whether the measurement was taken from the inside or outside, errors may occur in product placement.
What should you evaluate?
Measure the product in its actual position within the packaging. Take into account protective spacers, foam or other internal supports. Check the sample for the space required for the lids to close.
The next step for your project
Include the unit of measurement, order of measurement, and product weight in the request for quotation. Showing measurement directions in a drawing or photograph helps reduce the need for resampling.
